Home Care

Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice provides care to patients in their homes, allowing them the opportunity to get well in an environment they feel safe in. Patients are referred for a variety of medical issues which require monitoring and support in the home.

We are able to support people with our dedicated and caring staff which includes nurses, therapists, social workers, home health aides and volunteers. We have technology available to monitor heart rate, blood pressure, weights and oxygen levels on a daily basis.

Nurses assess and coordinate patients' overall care needs and provide skilled nursing services under a plan of care established jointly with the patient and their physician.

Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists
offer care when a patient's lack of mobility, problems with speech, or difficulty with self-care interferes with health and well-being.

Social Workers provide counseling, help with financial, social and emotional concerns, and link patients with other community resources.

Home Health Aides help with basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing and exercising. They also check patients' vital signs and do basic household chores.

Volunteers provide companionship to patients, respite for caregivers, and help with special needs like grocery shopping, light housekeeping, medication pick-up, and transportation when there are no other transportation services available.

We also offer several specialty services that include:
