Training for New Home Visiting Volunteers Planned in S. Paris - March 15th Back |
 Norway, Maine 3/1/12 - In response to increasing needs, Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice is seeking individuals who are interested in volunteering to help home care patients and their families.
The training classes will focus on volunteer opportunities that support patients receiving home care services as they recover from illness, surgery or a new medical condition, according to Kathy Baillargeon, Volunteer Supervisor. Visiting Volunteers provide companionship and share in activities such as reading, card games or music.
The 4-hour training class will be held in Norway on Thursday, March 15th from 12:00 to 4:00pm at Maine Veteran's Home, 477 High Street, S. Paris.
