Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice Announces New Volunteers & Training in Bridgton
Lewiston, Maine 5.14.13 - Volunteer support has been an integral part of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice's services for 40 years. The Program is now widely recognized as one of the most extensive, non-profit, home health care volunteer programs in Maine. Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice will be offering General Volunteer Training in Bridgton at Bridgton Hospital on May 29th from 9:00am-3:30pm.

Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice is pleased to announce that two people completed the General Volunteer training held in April. Those who attended the training include Celeste Onofrio of Lewiston and Rosemary Verrill of Bowdoinham.
"When I became a volunteer, I never realized what a big impact it would have on my life," states Bob Oliver, Volunteer for Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice. "I started to look at life through the eyes of the caregiver and patient. I then realized just how much a couple of hours of my time were worth to someone else.I love this work."
