Lewiston, ME 04.20.16 – Julie Shackley, CEO for Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, will retire on June 3rd after working for the agency for 22 years. Throughout her years, Julie has worked as a nursing supervisor, Performance Improvement Supervisor, Chief Operating Officer and the last 10 years as the CEO.
“Working here has been an incredible experience, and I'm thankful for every minute I've had here”, states Julie Shackley. “Unfortunately, due to my health issues, my time at AHCH has come to an end. I've watched the Agency grow into something amazing over my 22 years here, and I'm incredibly proud to have been a part of this team. I've been fortunate enough to work with some amazing and talented individuals over the course of my time here — each and every one them has somehow made an impact on me and effectively helped me to get to where I am right now.”
The community has supported the Agency over the years, assisting the Agency in expanding home care, hospice services and adding new services to meet the communities’ needs throughout Maine. Julie states “I just want to say thank you for giving me a chance to help improve the quality of care to Maine’s residents. Moving forward, I know that Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice is going to keep doing great things.
