Office volunteers assist in many departments at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice. Volunteers assist with data entry, filing, prepare training materials, phone calls, mailings, and other tasks as needed. Volunteers are placed based on their previous office experience and/or their comfort with computers, phones, filing, etc.

The Office Volunteer Training is designed to prepare new volunteers for their role in the office. The training is 4 hours.

Volunteer staff teaches this training session and some of the topics include:

• Introduction to Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice
• Boundaries of the Volunteer Role
• Nuts and Bolts of Volunteering - all you need to know to begin as an office volunteer
