Norway, Maine 3.27.15 - On March 26th, Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice (AHCH) celebrated the relocation of their Norway office with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house. AHCH made the official move the The Golden Arch building located on 39 Main Street in Norway on February 26th.
"The move allows AHCH the space to continue to grow, increase the agency's visibility and provide a central location that will provide better access for staff to care for their patients and families throughout the Oxford Hills community," shared John Williams, Executive Director of the Oxford Hills Chamber.
Present at the event were board members of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, community members and agency staff. All were encouraged to tour the new office and ask questions to learn more about the agency.
AHCH has been serving the Oxford Hills community since opening their doors in Lewiston in 1966 (almost 50 years ago). They opened their Norway office in 1980 (35 years ago) with 10 employees. AHCH now has 47 dedicated staff members who are providing Home Care, Home Hospice and Supportive Care services. Last year, staff cared for 1,123 residents and made more than 26,000 home visits in Oxford County.
